These classes blend Hatha and Taoist yoga principles which strengthen the bones, the blood and the lifeforce or Prana.

On the physical level the spine becomes free of the limbs and on the pranic or subtle body level the inner winds (Vayus) are strengthened creating more harmony for the organs, endocrine and nervous systems. Adapting set forms taken from the Taoist Shaolin and Indian Kalari traditions the breath and bones are the initial focus then co-ordinating movements which follow the flow of the lifeforce or Vayus (Inner winds) and their natural patterns.

The floor work sets up the natural progression laid out in the hatha yoga texts such as the Hatha Yoga Pradipika.
