The Yoga & Creativity workshop incorporates mindfulness meditation, gentle restorative yoga, art-making, dreamwork and elements of Pauline Oliveros’s Deep Listening® framework.

Yin Yang Flow

Daithí Ó hÉighnigh

3.30pm - 5.30pm

April 20th, May 4th

A spirited level 2 hatha flow followed by a deeply restorative Yin yoga practice.

Our Yang portion consists of a slow hatha flow where poses are held to develop strength, mindfulness, and stability. Our practice focuses on hamstrings, quadriceps and core engagement to prepare for back-bends and inversions.

Yin yoga can be considered both preventative and restorative. The meditative practice of stillness enhances the yin aspects (quality) of chi. A complimentary practice to yang yoga, it helps prevent joint rigidity and immobility, while simultaneously nourishing the meridians.

This workshop will leave you enlivened, revitalised and deeply rested in body and mind!

Soul Sessions

Daithí Ó hÉighnigh

sunday April 21st | 3.30pm-5.00pm

saturday May 11th | 3.30pm-5.00pm

Yin Yoga to soul music – even better than it sounds.
This class will ease you into a surrender of long delicious, at times supported, postures that help relieve the effects of chronic stress. The entire class is offered with the bonus of soul music to move you through the weekend with a soulful ease.

The combination of Yin yoga with soul music creates the euphoric effect of a deep and regenerative re-connection to the heart and soul.

Soul Sessions is appropriate for all levels including people completely new to yoga.

Rest & Digest

Daithí Ó hÉighnigh

Saturday April 13th

3.30PM - 5.30PM

Rest & Digest is a 2-hour restful and restorative workshop which blends Hatha Yoga, Yin Yoga and Yoga Nidra.

The Hatha yoga element includes yoga poses specifically selected to stimulate the body’s parasympathetic nervous system (PNS). The PNS is also known as our “rest and digest” system.

The Yin element will bring the mind and body closer to a state of total relaxation. Yin yoga poses are passive floor poses that work mainly on the lower part of the body. The poses stimulate the meridians of the body, balancing the body’s internal organs and systems.

We finish with Yoga Nidra, or Yogic Sleep. Yoga Nidra is a state of consciousness between waking and sleeping, in which the body is completely relaxed.

This workshop is open to everyone and no prior yoga experience is required.
